We believe meaningful mental healthcare starts with feeling heard and understood. Every person’s journey is different, so we take a personalized approach that respects your experiences, needs, and goals.
We meet you where you are, work with you at your pace, and focus on care that is practical, compassionate, and evidence-based. Our goal is to create a space where you feel supported, empowered, and comfortable taking the next step toward better mental well-being.

I’m Shan Shan, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience caring for individuals across acute care, inpatient medicine, inpatient psychiatry, and community settings.
Through all of these experiences, I saw firsthand how untreated or poorly managed mental health conditions can affect every aspect of a person’s life and, at times, contribute to a crisis requiring hospitalization. I also recognized how important early, accessible, and compassionate mental health care can be in helping individuals avoid reaching that point.
Since then, I have dedicated my career to community psychiatry and to helping people get the support they need before their struggles become a crisis.
I believe mental healthcare should be personal. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and I don’t believe in asking someone to fit into a treatment plan that doesn’t fit their life. I meet my patients where they are, listen to what matters to them, and work together to find an approach that feels both manageable and meaningful.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care. I want my patients to feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and being themselves without fear of judgment. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
Ultimately, I want to help people navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. My hope is that, with the right support and treatment, individuals can feel more in control of their mental health and more connected to the life they want to live.
